"I have always used the professional waterproof mascara that comes in the blue tube but have not been able to find anywhere it lately (has it been discontinued?) so I bought this and discovered it is not waterproof at all. Also uncurls curled lashes:("

"As a faithful MARATHON user from '76-'09, It's obvious Covergirl isn't going to bring back MARATHON mascara, so why can't you just duplicate it, at least the Waterproof-Smudgeproof part, then give it a new name? Until then, I've quit wearing mascara."

"This product is NOT waterproof. I've used CG Prof w/the curved brush for years--whatever happened to the green tube, waterproof version with curved brush? I'm not sure who uses soap & water to remove mascara (ouch!)? I've always used cold cream."

I'm sorry this is not what you expected. We are still making the Professional All In One Curved Brush Mascara, it currently comes in a blue container. I hope this helps.

"This mascara is by no means waterproof. Even just a tiny bit of sweat makes this stuff run. I bought it thinking I was getting a great deal on waterproof mascara, as the competing brands were more expensive. Now I wish I had bought the other brand!"

"This product smeared under my eyes & wore off too easy. It was not waterproof. I like the brush, but it had no staying power to it. How can a mascara be washable & waterproof at the same time? I like the new 24 Hour much better!"

"Used this for 2 days and gave up. Seemed clumpy on the brush and was barely visible on my lashes! I also had a problem with it straightening out my freshly curled lashes like no product I've ever used before! Wish I could return it."

"Love this stuff. It comes off with cetaphil or other mild cleanser, and stays on even if I'm crying or in the rain or snow. I've never had a problem with it smudging or running. The only mascara i've used for over 10 years!"

"There is nothing Remarkable or Waterproof about this mascara. Within 20 minutes of putting it on, I looked like a racoon. Unfortunately, I had bought several of them, and now I'm stuck since I threw out the receipt. I miss the old Professional!"

"I bought this mascara because they were out of my regular choice, LashExact. I was aiming to buy a waterproof mascara. This comes off easily in water--shower, pool, when a kid splashes me with bathwater--easily. Also smudges easily. Otherwise good."

"Despite countless negative reviews, I liked this product. It isn't miraculously waterproof- don't jump in the ocean- but it does its job very well, and I was fairly impressed. There is some clumping, but it's easily solved by an eyelash brush."
