"I loved this eyeliner until it went flat. I dont even want to try to sharpen it from reading the other reviews. If i wouldve realized it had to be sharpened i never wouldve bought it."

"Apparently, we are all having the same issue: sharpening. I typically wear Clinique but thought I'd try something different and am very disappointed. And I spent the same amount on this as I would've Clinique! What a waste of a product!"

"This eyeliner does not twist up! It needs to be sharpened! It was not made clear on the package that that is the case. And, they expect you to sharpen super hard plastic! So disappointed, Covergirl."

"Broke the sharpener & the eyeliner. So bought the 3rd one the tip goes to fast. Waited a long time for this product which is great but COVER-G YOU need to fix it make it easier to use such as a twist. SO $8.00 was wasted to manytimes. FIX THE PROBLEM"

"The formula for the liner itself is great! However, I was very dissapointed when I found out it had to be sharpened. I try to stay away from these kinds but the package doesn't warn you! The liner is soft, so when you sharpen it the end breaks off!"

"Bought it & then realized it doesn't freaking twist up. You have to sharpen the PLASTIC. First of all i don't even have a sharpener. & second, from what i've read, it's extremely hard to sharpen it without ruining it. Waste of $9 :( SO MAD."

"This was a really good one. The formula was smooth and the silver was shiny and blendable. I had trouble figuring out how to advance the tip, but you just sharpen it with a cheap pencil sharpener, nothing to freak out or get your money back about."

"I agree with all previous reviews. I even bought the CG sharpener but it's a plastic pencil! All the sharpener did was crack and shred the plastic pencil. What a mess. There should be a refund for all of us!"

"I noticed the packaging didn't say how to sharpen the tip when I bought this but thought I'd figure it out. When I found out you have to sharpen it I was furious. The cartridge is plastic! What are you doing CG? I'm switching to another brand."

"I echoed the poor product design. My tip broke as I pulled the cap out for the very first time!!
I used the dull tip and the colour and glide were great. But does CG expect you to keep spending $ to buy more as soon as the tip is flattened?"

"I love this eyeliner until I got down to the bottom really fast. I coudn't believe there so was little for the money. Then realized you have to sharpen it. No where did it say that. I'm super diappointed with this. Otherwise, it's a smooth eyeliner."

"Those who say they cant sharpen: buy the 3 in 1 sharpener. I've been using this for a yr now, never had problems sharpening. It's not permanent, & the black smudges easily, hard to touch up. Silver is perfect & lasts longer."
