"This product is great. I have hazel eyes that change colors. It doesn't actually brighten your eyes the gold specks reflect light which pulls attention to them. It did just that. It was a little clumpy though which made me not want to buy anymore. :("

"I was really excited to try the "eye brightening" mascara effect. I have deep brown eyes and I bought the mascara in black pearl it didn't seem to brighten my eyes at all. Also the mascara clumps my lashes together which is unflattering."

"Had originally bought this in Black Pearl since I have brown eyes, but I didn't see a change so I decided to switch it up to Black Gold and have been faithful ever since. I like the gold flecks! I did also try Black Sapphire but prefer Black Gold."

"I really want to try this product, however, I am in a somewhat tricky situation: I have 2 different colored eyes. My eyes go between green and hazel, but about half of (my left) eye is brown. I don't know which shade to try to get the best results.."

"i bought the black pearl but i did not see my eyes brighten so i threw it away, I called cover-girl to give my feedback, they sent me a coupon so I bought it again (maybe this one will work better) I still see no difference;. I have dark brown eyes"

"I have very weird eyes sometimes they are green/grey, but for the most part they are a pretty shade of brown, I wanna get the black pearl, but every person so far has given bad reviews on it, so I really want to try this but I want results... :)"

"I admit, I was skeptical when about this brightening my dark brown eyes, but when I tried it out, I did feel like my eyes were "sparkling"! I naturally have long lashes, but this made them pop even more! I love this mascara! I will surely buy again!"

"Loved my first eyelights, thrilled to find a mascara that worked so well with 1 coat, 2 & I was FI-YAH!! It ran out I got it again .this time I got clumps (YUCK!!) Tossed that (maybe it was old) and got a new 1 BROKEN BRUSH (wah). *Sigh* HELP!!"

"I have green and hazel eyes, the Black Gold didn't work but I love the Black Ruby mascara! I absolutely love it and I don't even need the eyeliner or shadow. Great for days I don't feel like putting a lot on, but still want to look good. :)"

"well, my eyes change colors often from green to blue and back to a blue-ish green, so it's really hard to figure out which mascara works better than the other. so I'm unsure what to do about it. it would be a lot easier if I knew what color to use."

Wow some people have to buy colored contact just to have your eye luxury! I can see why it is challenging to pick a color for you. I would go with the Black Sapphire since most of the time you tend to have a blue hue to them. The Black Sapphire is designed for blue eyes and will help to bring out your "baby blues".

"I used to use this mascara, but I stopped because it didn't even brighten my eyes at all. I love CoverGirl, so I was pretty disappointed with it. But on the plus side, it's good about staying on your eyelashes and not flaking or clumping."

I'm glad to hear that there were some positives for you with the Exact Eyelights Eye-Brightening Mascara but sorry to hear that you are disappointed in the "brightening" effect. This is a subtle effect that is intended to brighten the color of your eyes vs. your lashes. Did you use the mascara in conjunction with the Exact Eyelights Eye Brightening Eyeliner and Eyeshadow? If you use all three products together you will find you get the best effects. Please let me know if there is any other suggestions I can provide for you!

"I have brown eyes so I got the black pearl Unfortunately I am very disatisifed with this product It didn't brighten the color of my eye at all! Ut wasn't just like any ordinary mascara but worse! it made my eyelashes fall after the first application!"
