"I love CoverGirl's liquid foundation, but the clean pressed powder does nothing good for my skin. I use the lightest shade they offer and it still makes me look very orange and does not mix well at all with the foundation."

"the packaging is small which i like (not the easiest to open)the make up is good. you have to apply it to the very edge of your face (like in your hairline) or its obvious. i reccomend using a face lotion on b4 applying or it flakes-doesnt look good."

"I bought this to use as a finish with the liquid coverup, it makes it look worse, very hard to blend in my face.. and it shows the powder effect on my face.. doesn't coverup no matter how much i use! Your better off to use Maybelline mineral powder."

I am sorry you did not like the look you got with this powder. If you prefer a mineral powder you may want to try the CoverGirl TRUblend Minerals Loose Powder. It is a light, finely milled, loose powder that is enriched with natural minerals. Hope you give it a try.

"I've tried a couple different pressed powders but I always come back to this one! Controls my oily skin and doesn't feel cakey. It's very light. It's definitely my holy grail pressed powder."

"I have to say my skin is very very oily and it seems so hard to control it i bought the powder and it works great now all i need to change is the foundation from normal to oil control .

"I love the 50th anniversary compact, and the powder itself is pretty good, but the compact doesn't stay closed in my purse. If I take the puff out it does, but that isn't practical."

"I have a really hard time finding the right shade because my skin is so fair. I used the classic Ivory and it matched well but I told my friend about it and she couldn't find the right shade. Over all I am very happy with this product."

"The shades were better when this powder was marketed as Fresh Look powder, and the packaging was by far superior in looks and functionality. CG should have left ALL of their pressed powders alone! Hope they read all these reviews and revert back!"

"Got this today, finally.GREAT purchase. For those complaining, packaging works FINE. Don't change a thing Cover Girl! They didn't have my shade so i got the closest one and it matches perfect. Makes my skin look better and oil free is handy."

"At first i was worried I picked the wrong color, but its so nice and it matches! the case isn't that hard to open either, just push the bottom of the little latch and it pops open! totally not gonna let it go to waste! ;)"

"Packaging is an epic fail.Color selection is terrible.Tawny is too dark for me but Soft Honey is way too light for me. Covergirl you need to step your game up. I know you have the “Queen Collection” but the “regular” line should cater to me as well."

"I just bought this and I am loving it. I got Ivory for the golden tones, and it blends seamlessly into my NC35ish skin. It's very smooth, and buffs down to a finish that hides my pores and isn't cakey or chalky -just very natural."

"I've used this powder loyally for 15 years. However, the new packaging is terrible! The hinges break...the clasp fails, leaving it open inside my purse. I have gone through several already, and I will not purchase any more until they redesign it."

"Really love this powder. You can't beat the price. It gives a really nice finish and covers shine up well. I love this stuff! I don't like the puff it came with, I like to use a powder brush. But I am sure a different puff would work well too."
