"Great line but I selected the Verve shade in a store based on the color of the bottom which looked like a soft rose. The actual shade is a glimmery pink which does not look complementary on most. The image online is far more true to the actual."

"I bought this in the shade Embrace as an impulse buy, and I absolutely love this. It's a bold purpley-pink color, and it lasts all day. It doesn't have the greatest taste but I don't mind that, I'm not eating it after all. Love this lipstick!! <3"

"I got this lipstick in Delish as a nude. I really liked the color, but it smelled and tasted weird and it dried my lips out. It made my lips look cakey. It said that your lips would look better in 7 days, but it doesn't improve very much..."

"I purchased "Fairytale". I thought the color was vibrant and different from my usual color choices. It's brighter than the color on the bottom would indicate. It doesn't go on easily and seems to bleed. I am most disappointed with this purchase"

"I was excited when I found this "brown" color that is sublte when blended with my natural lip color. The one problem that I have is the taste. It is hard to wear - the taste is to distracitng to me. Guess I will keep looking."

"I bought Tempt. It appeared to be a dark, blue-based red; I was looking for a very specific cooler type red to coordinate with my nail polish. I enjoy the lipstick, except that it is a red-orange clown shade on me. I have to tone it down to use it."

"When I first bought this product I was very excited. I chose the shade based on the color on the bottom of the tube because it was extremely close to my natural color but when I applied it the color was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, it also tasted awful!"

"I purchased this color #370 Verve. By looking at the color at the bottom without being able to open it, it looked like my natural lip color. IT WAS NOT! The color is 2 shades lighter and has shimmer. I cannot wear light shades. I was so disappointed!"

"Tried new lipstick, can't find Honey Plum Glow. Lower moisture content, gets on teeth does not stay. Have worn Honey Plum Glow 30 years. I reccomended Honey Plum to many. Change is good, not this time. Going to department store, so long Cover Girl."

"Bought 3 tonight and tried Embrace first and it is lovely, but I CAN'T get the colour off my lips! I've tried everything from scrubs to olive oil to remove it and I can't 4 hours later. And I can't return them but I'm terrified to try the other 2!"

No need to scrub. The Cover Girl Clean Make-up Remover for Eyes & Lips will remove it easily. You can also use baby oil or petroleum jelly. Glad to hear you are enjoying the Embrace.

"I purchased Embrace because it has a beautiful Purple-Iridescent Color. I am glad I purchased this lipstick. The only bad thing is that the color stains lips. I took this off and my lips are reddish! But I do recommend this lipstick!"
