Might as well use a regular writing pencil

"They call it Midnight Black but the darkest I got out of it was still at least 5 shades lighter than the eyeliner I got from the dollar store. Tugs and pulls and still nothing shows up -- don't even think about applying it to your delicate eyes!"

"Do these pencils not come in henna brown anymore? it was the perfect shade to match my red hair, and I cant find it anywhere at all. Id be very sad if you stopped making it...."

"As I have very fine brows I thought this would help give me some definition on the brows. However it is very hard and not the easiest to apply but with a little effort it was applied. Sadly this is way to hard to even think about using as a liner."

Where's the Mink????

"Why can I not find Mink colored brow pencils any more????? That has been my color for as long as I can remember and I've been using eyebrow pencils for 25 years!!!! Please tell me that I can still get them somewhere, somehow???"

Terrible on the lashline

"Originally bought this pencil set because I wanted a lighter brown for my lashline. No matter how hard I pressed I could not get any color on my lashline. Even tried to heat and still could not get color. This pencil set will be going in the trash."

"I originally brought the midnight black pencil because it was inexpensive. It was not worth the purchase. The crayon is tough and will not appear on your lashlid without pressing. Even still the color is very light and does not show well."

"This makes the longest lasting eyeliner on the market when heated for a few seconds with a lighter. Makes it soft enough to apply, smooth, rich and very black, then dries to a waterproof, all day liner, even on my waterline."

"I bought this about a year ago after i overplucked my eyebrows. Its worked really well for blending in and making my eyebrows look perfect. But when i tried to use it as an eyeliner it was way too hard. Won't buy again until its a little softer"

"I have used CG brow pencils forever...I don't remember using another brand. I LOVE this pencil but ONLY for brows. DO NOT USE FOR EYELINER! It is too hard for use as eyeliner. Great color choices for brows."

"Bought the CoverGirl brow maker in "soft blonde", love the color, but it is hard to apply to brows. If I wanted to apply something hard I would use a regular crayon.
This product needs to be improved and made softer for brows."

"Midnight brown matches my eyebrows (more black than brown) without looking like I have penciled them. It is however, too hard of a pencil to use as eyeliner unless you soften the tip up by using a lighter or something. Not bad for the price, though."

"Pretty good for pencils, didn't tug on my lids. But oil on my eyelids caused these to smear, BADLY. Other than that, these eyeliners work alright (midnight black wasn't as dark as I wanted), nothing too great, but not horrible either."

"I purchased this in soft brown & you could not even tell I had anything on, even after going over several times. Worst than that, my daughter who has a much lighter skin tone than mine had the same result! Looks darker than it actually is."
